Matthew E. Volkman, CPA, PFS, CFP
Education:
Originally from Evansville, Matt earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Business School with a concentration in Accounting. Coursework included tax, accounting and finance.
Matt is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). These certifications provide broad knowledge on a wide range of financial planning and investment areas.
Experience:
Matt began his career in public accounting with George S. Olive, LLC (now BKD, LLP) in Indianapolis. Before joining Pettinga Financial Advisors, Matt served with The Windsor Group, a Registered Investment Advisor in Indianapolis. Matt currently serves on several civic boards, including The Rotary Club of Evansville, Community Foundation Alliance and Vanderburgh Community Foundation and is active in his church, Crossroads Christian Church.
Matt's financial expertise includes investment / asset allocation counsel, estate and tax planning, retirement and education planning and business succession issues. Client relationships include a diverse mix of business owners, executives, professionals, retirees and institutions.
